The Behavioral Health National Clinical Lead will help ensure that regional practices deliver care that is of the highest quality. As the U.S. business scales, they fill a critical role in helping Medical Directors to oversee the day-to-day management of a medical practice, especially but not exclusively, in the domain of clinical quality assurance and safety. They aspire to prevent problems by closely overseeing the work of medical providers, as well as closely managing post-visit care. The Clinical Lead will embrace the Babylon culture of accountability, openness, and support of the clinical delivery team. Responsibilities
  • Provide quality and compassionate care to underserved communities lacking access to available resources.
  • Availability to support in call rotation(s) with other Babylon Employees
  • Provide oversight to ensure appropriate continuum of care and standards of practice for Behavioral Health program
  • Support the development of clinical workflows to ensure patients receive appropriate Behavioral Health evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, screening whenever indicated
  • Provide clinical input on the development of behavioral health SPPs; value-based care approach, supervising guidelines, and build ongoing patient management plan integrated health/therapist
  • Assist with modification of Behavioral Health policies, procedures, and protocols that govern emerging mental health initiatives
  • Communicate with clinical staff to understand product and workflow enhancements; work with Operations Lead to operationalize feedback
Education and Licensure
  • Board Certified in psychiatry and/or subspecialty
  • Active State Licenses in multiple states and willing to obtain additional state licensures as needed
  • Active enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid programs preferred
  • Experience working in an administrative or operations role within healthcare organizations
  • Experience collaborating with Primary Care providers in Integrated Healthcare Model
Professional Skills
  • Knowledge of current principles and practices of psychiatric care
  • Advanced technical skills and experience working in a telemedicine environment
  • Demonstrated leadership effectiveness in community-based outpatient setting and project management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
