Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join SOC/IR team at ThreatConnect. You’ll join a squad of like-minded Front-End and Back-End engineers focused on building the products that Security Operations Center and Incident Response teams need. About You

You think of the user first. You believe in a fundamentally user-centered and reality-based approach to UX design.You understand what makes an experience good or bad. On that foundation is where you build the beauty and flair that you add to all of your designs.

You love crafting interfaces out of code. Taking raw ideas and building great products in code makes your day. You understand JavaScript’s benefits and challenges, but you genuinely enjoy coding with it. You’re passionate about building fluid interfaces in CSS that get out of the way and help accelerate what the user is trying to accomplish rather than slow it down.

You are collaborative. You're a team player who puts the interest of the team above your own. You display a positive attitude, are open and enjoy contributing. You feel that the team that surrounds you is just as important as the skills you cultivate.

You’re always learning new things. You’re a self-start that loves researching the latest design trends, or mauve just learning the 152nd new JavaScript framework. Things You Will Do
  • Build reactive, reusable Angular components (using TypeScript, HTML, and LESS) that enable us to build better and faster, with less bugs
  • Engage with our Product Designer around the designs for each feature that your squad works on, giving feedback to help shape the direction
  • Review code written by other team members and other teams
  • Join customer design reviews with the Product Designer to know and understand our customer needs and what problems we’re trying to solve for them
  • Build Angular services that connect to RESTful APIs in order to send and receive data
  • Work closely with your squad’s Product Management, Core Engineering, and QA team members to ensure that we’re building fluid experiences that meet customer needs
  • Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality
