The Sales Systems Engineer / Bid Desk Sales amp; Systems Engineer works alongside the Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Managers to accelerate the sales cycle for all Identiv products. Primary responsibilities include representing all technical aspects of how the Identiv solutions solve specific customer problems. Major job functions include product assessing and documenting business and technical use cases, technical proof of concepts, RFI/RFP responses, Aamp;E support, and preparing technical proposals/quotes for Hirsch Velocity, Velocity Video, Freedom Cloud, Enterphone amp; credentials.
Duties included, but are not limited to, the following:
Support the Identiv Enterprise Sales and Channel teams in proposing Identiv's solutions and related services to prospective and existing clients establishing alignment and close collaboration with inside sales, sales management, product management, professional services, and partners
Provide written quotes based on integrator requests, RSM, and Inside Sales requests
Engage in the qualification process of customer/partner leads and opportunities
Create product packages that can be used to make quoting streamlined for our partners
Create a standard pricing program/format to be used
Provide strategic technical assessment and detail in response to RFP / RFI requests from qualified opportunities
Support the Business Development Team as an Identiv SME
Provide technical product and design support for the Regional Sales Team
Plan and oversee pre-sales technical evaluation and experience for key end-users
Provide design support via telephone, and electronic media during the pre-sales phase for large projects
Gather amp; provide market intelligence together with partner/customer feedback to the Product Marketing amp; Management teams
