We are seeking a seasoned, scoops-oriented reporter to cover all aspects of structured finance, including corporate funding strategies; new issuance of asset-backed securities, residential mortgage bonds and collateralized loan obligations; deal structures; secondary-market trading and pricing; buy-side investment strategies; and market trends. Our newsletter Asset-Backed Alert has been the leading source of exclusive news and data for the securitization industry for more than 25 years. Our reporting team is committed to digging up unannounced news and market intelligence about leading industry participants including issuers, institutional investors, banks, rating agencies and other service providers.
Requirements
- Completion of at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of reporting experience with hard-news clips from a daily newspaper, online information service or weekly publication.
- The ideal candidate will have a nose for news and a track record of developing hard-to-access sources on competitive beats. Financial-news experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
