Amount is seeking a Software Engineer for our Platform Engineering and Internal Tooling team. The right candidate for the role is someone that is an effective communicator, team player, and focuses on building great experiences. Core responsibilities include improving SDLC tools and processes, developing and designing microservices for the DevOps platform.

What you'll work on:- Apply DevOps methodologies to create a seamless experience between operational and development processes to increase velocity, efficiency and quality
- Design a first-class platform by architecting, developing and improving Golang event based microservices
- Evaluate new technologies and integrate those that will add value and drive operational efficiency
Who you are:- 1+ years experience in a software engineering, internal tooling or platform engineering role
- Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural software engineering patterns
- Driven to create exceptional amp; intuitive experiences
- Perform feature level design given high-level requirements, taking into account business requirements, data/Indicators/reporting, scalability/performance requirements, security, and time available to implement
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or equivalent experience
