Position Overview

The Asset Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing all post-closing matters including but not limited to overseeing all of loan servicing, reviewing and management of non-performing loans, and portfolio management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

The following list of qualifications and responsibilities is not all inclusive, as each employee is expected to be a team player and may be assigned other tasks, as necessary.

  • College degree preferred, generally in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in asset management, servicing or portfolios
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising/managing a team
  • Must have a positive attitude, high energy, organized, excellent communication skills and be self-motived, take initiative and be solution oriented
  • Excellent attention to detail coupled with high demands
  • Ability to work in office on a full-time schedule, with some flexibility on work hours to respond to company clients/customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all servicing and post-closing matters.
  • Conduct loan level review of nonperforming loans and independently assess for borrower solutions including loan modifications or strategies for property repossession.
  • Oversee Collateral Processes (i.e., initial collateral files, tailing documents, trades, etc.)
  • Supervise general Post-Closing Matters
  • Monitor Servicing Matters i.e., loan boarding, servicer payment status reports
  • Manage all Portfolio Management matters including i.e., foreclosures, bankruptcies and other loss mitigation matters, maturity monitoring, extensions etc.
  • Liaise and be the main escalation Point Of Contact with third party servicers, Capital Partners, and Borrowers
  • Maintain and manage contact internally for all of the above matters
