Job Description

The HR Business Partner leads efforts to promote the Sense Corp culture of making our employees lives better, improving the journey of our clients, and making the world a better place. The primary responsibilities of the position include employee engagement, compensation, and collaborating with other members of the Human Resource team across functional areas to bring programs of value to the organization.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Provides direction and guidance on employee relations issues.
  • Develop and implement plans designed to achieve best practice employee relations programs and policies.
  • Proactively monitor trends regarding employee relations and labor relations issues.
  • Conducts confidential and sensitive investigations regarding workplace concerns.
  • Collaborates with the HR team to analyze employee data and develops strategies for driving increased engagement and retention.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition on various initiatives.
  • Supports corporate Diversity amp; Belonging program.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on employee relations implications of proposed business restructuring or transactions.
  • Responds to governmental claims (e.g. EEOC, DOL).
  • Works with Legal Counsel to assist in obtaining the proper work permits and visas for current and prospective employees.
  • Leads to ensure employee relations processes/policies are fair and consistent with company policy and legal regulations.
  • Ensures compensation programs are competitive against market and are effective in driving performance and behaviors in alignment with company values.
  • Partners with key business leaders to ensure compensation programs meet various business segment needs and are well understood by leaders and associates.
  • Coordinates and manages other ad hoc projects and analysis on compensation trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant compensation experience
  • 8+ years of relevant Employee Relations experience
  • Deep knowledge of US labor relations and labor laws; keeps pace with changes in external labor and employment relations landscape.
  • Possesses a blend of deep labor law and employee relations expertise and experience and has a proactive bias by leading and contributing to projects, initiatives, and ongoing programs in collaboration with the organization.
  • Approaches decisions proactively and in a fact-based way, makes effective and pragmatic choices, balances benefit and risk, maintains compliance, and drives holistic business strategies.
  • Leverages facts and data from multiple sources, readily understands the data elements needed for specific analyses, and translates it into actionable strategies or solutions.
  • Demonstrates composure in tough situations and does not retreat from constructive conflict.
  • Never compromises high ethics and integrity and remains objective and fair at all times.
