The Registered Sales Assistant provides administrative support to the Fixed Income Manager and a team of registered representatives by answering client calls, coordinating schedules, processing transactions, and other administrative duties as requested.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Provides support to Fixed Income Manager
- Provides support to team of registered representatives, which may include answering client calls, coordinating schedules, typing correspondence, and filing
- Assures all assigned trading transactions are executed in a timely manner
- Processes investment transactions and responds to customer requests for market quotes and market information
- Opens customer accounts; establishes and maintains appropriate customer account documentation
- Processes trade allocations
- Participates in other projects as requested by broker, registered representative and/or management
- Assists with trade booking
- Reconciles trade settlements
- Performs administrative functions for new issue bonds
- Prepares, monitors and tracks certain reports
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of a 4 year college degree and/or equivalent experience required
- Prior Sales Assistant experience preferred
- Series 7 License Required
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks required
- High level of professionalism with a proven history of strong internal and external customer service
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team oriented environment
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular and reliable attendance required.
