Entry Level Quality Control Engineer

JJLM Strategic Talent Partners is looking for a bright Quality Control Engineer to be part of a major project in the Boston, MA area. This is a great opportunity to join a leading team in the industry as well as support a major construction project that will have a positive impact on the community.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Review testing reports to verify testing passes minimum specification requirements.
• Review checklists from the field and notify other QA team members if issues are indicated.
• Review material receiving documentation and collect any missing paperwork for close out purposes.
• Collect and log material quantities used for close outs, conduct take offs when needed.
• Ensure testing reports, daily reports, etc. are filed in the proper location in the construction management software.
• Review submittals for contact compliance on rare occasions.
• Other duties as they are developed and assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
• Strong data entry skills
• Computer knowledge and competency, including Microsoft Suite
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
