- Preprocess sensor inputs from multiple sensors to improve sensor data flow, including multi-sensor time synchronization, sensor sanitizer, error detection.
- Work on sensor calibration and validation
- Preprocess sensor input in perception system, including sensor sanitizer, multi-sensor time synchronization, ground detection
- Work with hardware team to guide sensor selection and sensor pipeline architecture in support of perception stack
- Working on integration of the sensor data into the stack and craft a highly efficient data flow that feeds into a different stage of the real-time algorithms
Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Science or 1+ year related industrial experiences.
- Strong design and programming skills in C++
- Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand requirements and clearly document tools
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with sensor calibration(lidar, radar, camera)
- Expertise working with various sensor technologies, including Lidar, Radar, and Camera
- Experience with ROS, OpenCV
