We transformed from a solid New York City-based corporate lunch service, called STADIUM, whose trajectory was thrown off-course given the changing dynamic of working on-site to working at-home, and have since never looked back. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a Merchant Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle management of our CPG (consumer packaged goods: snack, beverage, pantry) brand partners: sourcing, onboarding, procuring, promoting, and delisting. You will be at the exciting forefront of seeing our portfolio scale, while delighting our global customers, and providing a continuous value-add to our innovative brands. Most importantly, you will be central to reinforcing our company culture.

SnackMagic is based in New York City, but this would be a remote position.

This is a contract-to-hire role, to be evaluated for a full-time role after 3 months. This hire will report to the company's Head of Merchant Development.

About You:

    • Passion for the foods consumer packaged goods industry
    • ~1-5 years of CPG or CPG related strongly preferred, bachelor's degree required
    • Hard-working, mature, and positive attitude; no task is too big or small
    • No ego and no set ways of doing things- open mindedness and experimentation is very key to our company

Requirements

About this Position:


Brand Management: ~ 60%

  • Source new brand partners through external reach-out and systematic campaigns to drive inbound interest
  • Onboard brands A-Z; from initial product trials, to procurement, to promotion, to monitoring performance (may liaise with Operations team)
  • Act as day to day contact for brand partner communication: serving their needs but being mindful of SnackMagic’s needs, first and foremost
  • Keep track of CPG news to stay abreast and ahead of trends for sourcing efforts

Menu Merchandising amp; Management: ~ 30%

  • Oversee SnackMagic menu for optimal presentation, maximize information accuracy, optimal sales positioning, and best visual presentation
  • Edit, audit descriptions and images as needed
  • Cross-function with other company teams with all efforts related to menu (Design, Marketing, Tech)

New Company Initiatives: ~10%

  • Be involved in new avenues for business as far as deepening SnackMagic’s foray into CPG, and look for new initiatives to deepen brand partnerships
