Armstrong Flooring’s Finance and Accounting teams are committed to providing world-class leadership and to develop well-rounded Finance professionals with the potential and desire to grow within the organization. Our Finance Professional Development Program offers employees highly visible positions while preparing you to contribute within our most critical finance functions.

Location: 2500 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17604 temporarily 100% remote due to COVID

How you’ll contribute to the team:

Incorporating 9-month assignments over the course of 3 years, the program provides participants an outstanding opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network. Program rotations are located at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA and opportunity to work with all of our U.S. manufacturing locations.

You will experience challenging rotations, structured learning, formalized feedback and mentoring. The program provides exposure to senior finance and business leaders, and immediate opportunities to add significant value and make an immediate impact on our business.

Rotation areas include:

  • Audit
  • Treasury
  • Tax
  • Financial Planning amp; Analysis
  • Corporate Controllers
  • Manufacturing Finance

After completing the program, you'll work closely with the Program Managers to identify positions and career paths that meet your interests to advance your career at Armstrong Flooring.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • College seniors and recent graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0, completion of at least 2 college-level Accounting courses
  • Prior internship in Finance or Accounting
  • Leadership experience through involvement in student organizations or community service
  • Demonstrate strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations and teamwork
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls is a plus
  • Have a natural curiosity, knack for analysis and problem solving, and the drive to roll up your sleeves and get things done
