Responsibilities:
- Conduct and perform usability studies and usability tests for digital properties on common UX testing platforms such as Usertesting, Userlytics, Optimal workshop, etc.
- Carry out end-to-end user testing including gathering requirements from clients, preparing, and recording tests, providing thorough analysis, synthesizing results and providing recommendations.
- Manage information architecture to unearth navigation problems through tree testing, card sorting and similar mixed methodologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate UX research study topics and project learning agendas.
- Demonstrate deep confidence in your presentation skills to convincingly present the learnings of the UX study to business users.
- Deploy studies from concept to completion.
- Have an awareness of costs and budgets.
- Mentor, coach and expand a team of UX researchers and designers.
- Build client business cases.
- Develop marketing collateral and expand your competitive offering.
- Create a vision for UX and develop a culture around the voice of consumer.
- Aid in the pre-sales process and help to close client project opportunities.
- 10+ years’ experience working as a UX researcher.
- Strong experience with UX testing tools such as Usertesting, Userlytics, Optimal workshop, etc.
- Adept with UX processes and flows
- Previous experience in working with tree tests, card sorts and user experience studies.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, as you present your research findings and the reasons behind your design decisions.
- Has prior experience in mentoring and coaching junior UX researchers.

- Ability to design products and leverage UX design skills for sketching, wireframing and creating functional prototypes.
- Your portfolio is varied, but previous experience in working with higher education/retail/e-commerce industry is preferred.
