Couple is a fast-growing startup in the $10B online-dating industry with a product that serves singles in a fun and unique way. Couple is a subsidiary of World Media Group LLC, whose business interests include lawyer.com, Sweet.io, Scientist.com, Calendar.com, and Outerspace.com.
We are looking for a driven Event Sales Promoter and Host located in Atlanta who will excel at engaging social media influencers, acquiring users, and hosting a weekly online event with 100+ participants.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in organizing and/or promoting events
- 2+ years of experience interacting with customers over social media
- 2+ years of consumer sales experience
- 1+ years public speaking
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Capable of high-level of engagements and follow-up skills
- Ability to work weekdays 9am-6pm and later on events nights
Responsibilities include:
- Acquire new users to attend Couple online events
- Connect with the existing users (via text, email, phone) to excite participants to join events
- Host a weekly online event where you greet participants, explain the product, and provide an engaging experience
- Establish an online presence on social media platforms and other mediums to elicit customer engagement
- Engage social media influencers to collaborate on partnerships
- Utilize local demographics, trends, forums, to create buzz about our product to optimize growth
You’d Be a Good Fit If You Have:
- Good sales prospecting skills with the ability to develop event leads and follow-up programs
- Creative sales instincts and a desire to test new methods to acquire users
- The charisma to be a host who can carry a conversation and entertain the audience
- A love of interacting with customers through social media, online forums, email, and phone calls
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship management
- The desire to use your knowledge of the Dallas area, local events, trends, and other market research to capture attention and generate event attendance
Benefits
Our competitive compensation plan rewards great performance and is composed of salary and commission. Expected total compensation ranges from $35,000 to $60,000 annually.
This is an independent contractor position as posted, but we may consider a full-employment offer with a generous benefits package for the ideal candidate.
