This is a cleaning porter position, meaning you will be responsible for keeping the entire facility clean and tidy throughout the day.
Essential Tasks amp; Responsibilities
Utilize the client’s customized cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to the standards established by 2 Moms amp; A Mop. Common tasks include:
- Dust and disinfect furniture, equipment, tables, etc.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floor, toilets, mirrors, refrigerator, microwave, etc. in bathrooms and kitchens
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Leaving each room in a customers location with a neat appearance
- Wipe down walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, ceiling fans, etc.
Skills amp; Competencies
- Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to 2 Moms amp; A Mop standards
- Handle special requests for customers as appropriate and note request on the customer checklist.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies, and incident reporting
- Detail oriented pays attention to details at each customer’s location, with extra attention to any special requests.
- Friendly and professional able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed.
- Team Player ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work done.
- Self-starter able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.
- Desire to learn, seek new challenges, and take on additional responsibilities
- Reasoning ability good common sense with ability to solve practical problems
Compensation
- Starting Pay-$13.00-$14.00 per hour
Requirements
- Some Janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent attendance history
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
- Organizational skills
- The eye for cleaning details
- Availability to work at least two Saturdays per month
