About the Role and Your Impact
As a member of the People team, you will be a critical partner in driving high performance culture through partnerships with business leaders. You work to refine our people processes and be a key partner in the design and iteration of strategies and programs that impact the employee experience. You bring experience across all areas of Human Resources including employee relations, coaching, headcount planning, organizational design, DEI initiatives, employee engagement + more. As Senior HR Business Partner, you play a pivotal role in the long-term success and sustainability of our organization.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively guide and support managers + employees on all people-related matters
- Coach managers to lead and retain high-performing teams while supporting the overall employee experience
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with People team to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Support managers around leadership, communication, feedback, coaching, and compliance
- Partner with the People team to continuously roll out processes, initiatives and best practices
- Serve as a role model for the company's culture by practicing, demonstrating, and pushing for the highest standards of behavior and ethics in all decision making
- Attend/conduct weekly meetings with respective departments and business units
- Provide thought leadership/partnership across areas of workforce planning and resource allocation, succession planning, executive search, compensation leveling, career development, and crucial conversations
- Develop relationships while inspiring a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees domestic, remote and international
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to both employees and managers, handle all PIP related documentation, and conduct investigations as appropriate/necessary
- Support and collaborate with leadership across the organization to define departmental goals and workforce plans that solve for current gaps and anticipate future needs
- Champion company initiatives across Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
- Partner with the Talent team to support proactive hiring and sourcing for critical to fill roles
- Assist as needed with FMLA, leave management, and other highly sensitive conversations and processes
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner in high-growth environment; start-up or tech experience a plus
- Experience in a wide-array of disciplines including, but not limited to employee relations, organizational design, performance management, compensation, benefits, and talent development
- A commitment to building diverse teams and inclusive hiring practices with the courage to challenge status quo
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost sensitivity and professionalism
- Relationship building expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- An ability to navigate and embrace ambiguity, adapt quickly to shifting priorities/deadlines, make timely decisions and drive behavioral change
- Strong strategic foresight with an ability to move quickly without compromising quality
- Patience and an enthusiasm for teaching managers and teams on best practices and outcomes
