Job Description

Here's why you should want this job:

  1. You'll learn how the "sausage gets made" at a high-growth company. A front-row seat to people ops, biz ops, strategy, and a growth project or two has your name written all over it.
  2. You'll sit at the center of our scaling challenges as we establish new channel partnerships and enterprise relationships
  3. Every day will be different and no two assignments will look the same.

You’ll be a utility player on Air's leanest and most exciting team, working cross functionally to solve unique and critical business problems, manage relationships, and expand revenue opportunities.

This role will be part of the Growth team. In addition, you'll get to learn from everyone at Air - including the CEO, CTO, and Head of Strategy!

Who you are

You are an MBA candidate currently enrolled in a top business school. You should be equally comfortable presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leaders as you are waiting on hold to chase down an unpaid invoice. You'll need to multi-task and manage multiple projects with different owners efficiently and effectively. Lastly, you feel energized by the chaos; you can identify and act upon an opportunity or problem without explicit instructions and respond comfortably to ad hoc requests or changing priorities.

As a Strategy amp; Ops Intern, you will be responsible for completing strategic business project(s) that impact the company at the corporate level. At the beginning of your internship, you'll scope out several projects that are critical to the success of the team. You'll be asked to do research, provide recommendations, and kickstart the implementation of solutions during your time with us.

Possible projects

  • Conducting channel analysis + building the go-to-market strategy for new verticals
  • Writing the DEI playbook: recruiting, retention, trainings, etc.
  • Building out a referral program and/or ecosystem
  • ... You choose. You'll essentially get to carve it into the experience you want.

Our company culture was built around a a tireless pursuit to be the best at what we do. We're entrepreneurial and focused: tackling problems head on without ego. We communicate with empathy. We speak directly, listen thoughtfully, and ask questions.

At Air, we believe that it takes diversity of thought, culture, race, sexual orientation and outlook to build a world class business. We value unique contributions and actively welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to join us at Air.
