As Digital Sales Associate you will work with a vertically-aligned sales team to research, contact, and win new advertising clients. You’ll set marketing and discovery meetings with global brands in your industry, from Fortune 500 companies to innovative start-ups, and develop sales and industry expertise that will allow for future mobility within the organization.

The role is perfect for someone who has some experience and exposure to a customer or client facing role and is looking to enhance and develop their skills within a progressive media sales team. You will work with a team of expert publishers and account directors that will enable you to gain valuable insight into how you effectively identify and drive new advertising categories and fill white space with Fortune 500 companies. Your role will generate directly impact business growth and enable you to take ownership of how we best approach our prospects with compelling literature and collateral.

This position pays a base salary with targeted commissions and bonuses when planned targets are achieved.

Within this role you will carry out a number of duties that will have a tangible impact on sales revenue and team performance such as:

  • Prospecting new advertisers
  • Growing and maintaining customer databases
  • Developing marketing collateral
  • Writing compelling copy for sales outreach
  • Preparing competitive analyses
  • Responding to advertiser RFPs
  • Building sales reports
  • Managing inbound marketing opportunities

Requirements

What do I need to succeed?

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong sense of organization and strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced media/technology business Computer savvy and proficiency with various software packages, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and G-suite
  • Team-oriented and professional attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree with exceptional academic record
  • Legal right to work in the United States
