Job Description

Corin is seeking an Executive Assistant in a newly created role reporting to the President of Corin USA, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support. This is a highly visible position requiring the ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot, think creatively, and offer solutions with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Executive Assistant also supports Corin’s US-based Chief Technology Officer and our Chief of Quality and Clinical Affairs, who are responsible for global business functions.

Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.

The main responsibilities of an Executive Assistant are to:

  • Act as gatekeeper, triaging incoming requests and responding on behalf of the executive when appropriate
  • Triage incoming correspondence and respond directly or draft replies when appropriate
  • Organize and manage the schedules for the Executive Team based in the US using Outlook calendar
  • Schedule meetings and all logistics such as preparing distributing pre-meeting materials
  • Planning all aspects of on-and offsite events including agenda preparation, food planning, invitations, accommodating guest requests
  • Arrange executive travel including flights, hotels, ground transportation and other accommodations
  • Answer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Act as the point of contact between the executives and internal and external stakeholders
  • Meet and greet VIP visitors to the office
  • Prepare PPT presentations for internal and external use
  • Submit expenses using Concur software
  • May attend meetings to record minutes, summarize action items and assignment of actions
  • Handle confidential business matters with diplomacy, tact, and integrity

Requirements

The ideal Executive Assistant will have / be:

  • Extremely well-organized administrative professionalism
  • Able to establish and self-manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • 5-7 years of previous administrative experience in working with multiple C-level executives or senior leaders in a corporate environment
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Office Suite including sophisticated PowerPoint abilities
  • Strong Outlook calendar experience
  • Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
  • As a highly visible representative of Corin, excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to comfortably interact with external contacts and internal staff representing a wide variety of backgrounds
  • Total discretion in handling confidential information
