Job Description
SchooLinks is seeking a Graphic Designer to create graphics and assets for marketing collateral to promote our Education Technology product. This role will work closely with our Marketing Content Manager to create assets and graphics for customer facing collateral like flyers, brochures, emails, social media posts and more that help readers engage in the material. Graphics and assets needed will range from formal and informative graphics that help the reader understand the flow of documents, to engaging and fun graphics to grab attention on social media posts. The ideal candidate should have experience creating similar graphics and assets, as well as experience working with tools within Adobe Creative Suite, like InDesign and Photoshop.
Duties include:
- Translating new ideas into fully formed design concepts with efficiency and high attention to detail
- Conceptualizing and executing a variety of graphics and assets to be used in various marketing material, including flyers, brochures, emails, social media posts and more
- Collaborating with Content Marketing Manager to identify needs, share ideas and review work
- Managing concurrent projects while working to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Maintaining highest standards of quality and creativity in all work
- Meeting project deadlines/milestones as set by manager
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of graphic design and visual design theory and fundamentals (e.g. Art and Visual Perception, Color theory, Form, Branding)
- Organized and clean workflow
- Ability to accept feedback, review work and make changes when necessary
- Strong art portfolio, demonstrating expertise in graphic design for various marketing collateral
- Ability to create graphics that supplement more informative and formal work, like brochures, as well as less formal work like social media posts
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
