Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Full-Stack software engineer to join our cross-functional team of engineers and business professionals. You will be our first full-time software engineer and have the unique opportunity to add extreme value and have ownership over our product architecture and roadmap.

Key responsibilies:

• Architect, develop, test, and deploy products that are fast, scalable, and beautiful.
• Determine optimal framework and architecture for scalable product.
• Convert Figma wireframes and existing code into robust applications.
• Design and maintain large and complex databases.
• Deploy applications and manage infrastructure on AWS.
• Work with CTO to manage and communicate with our off-shore engineering team.
• Rapidly iterate using customer feedback as we work toward product-market fit.
• Grow as our company grows - both personally and in the scope of work.

Requirements

Candidate must have:

• Proven track record building scalable customer-facing applications using javascript/ typescript with clean, well-documented code.
• Ability to self-manage and work effectively without oversight (we want entrepreneurs!).
• Creative problem solving skills and extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and lead both co-workers and contractors.

It would be awesome if you had:

• Ability to manage existing product built on MEAN tech stack (Node js, Mongo DB, Angular, and Express) while determining optimal structure for scalable product.
• Experience building hybrid apps for both iOS and Android.
• Experience building consumer facing applications.
• Experience with infrastructure amp; dev ops on AWS.
• Previous startup experience.

Benefits

Competitive salary: $110-$140K (depending on experience)
