Job Description
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all payments to vendors for all Kleen Test Products locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Distribute invoices to each location for approval by plant managers
- Maintain both inventory, non-inventory, utility bills, service awards and expenses into Macola for payment preparation
- Maintain and balance expenditure report (which includes all Kleen Test Products expenses, payroll, A/P checks, 401k, wires, etc.)
- Maintain discount log
- Process manual payments upon request
- Communicate and resolve all issues, questions, or concerns with all vendors
- Maintain communication with all plant managers regarding invoicing, vendors accounts and payment status.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required. Some secondary education is preferred, including Associates Degree or Technical Certification in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
- Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, areas, circumference, and volume.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Good PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) as well as experience with Google Suite, accounting software, accounts payable, and the internet.
