Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing general administrative and functional support to the internal Human Resources department.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Assist entire HR department with administrative and day-to-day duties.
  • Creation of customized client handbooks.
  • Ensure HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
  • Research HR topics to provide support to the HR Consultants
  • Complete background verifications.
  • Administer Leave of Absences.
  • Inform the HR Consultants of legal changes and create communication pieces for clients.
  • Customize power point presentations for client trainings.
  • Assist in preparing relevant data entry and reports.
  • Assist in organizing, maintaining and updating files, forms and other employee related documents.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing..
  • Assists or prepares correspondence.
  • Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company policies amp; procedures and related documents as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality and discretion while protecting the assets and information of the company within the scope of duties.
  • Manages HR related vendors
  • Attend and participate within team meetings, discussions and on occasions present concepts to the team
  • Support special projects and HR initiatives.
  • Additional tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
