The Systems Technical Assistance (TA) Lead primary responsibilities?include identifying, developing,?and implementing?systems-level?training and technical assistance activities?related to preventing and ending youth?homelessness.?The Systems TA Lead is part of the Youth Housing Justice team, is a full-time, exempt position supervised by the Director of Youth Housing Justice.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Leadership Team in Operational Design and Management
The Systems TA Lead will support the implementation of?strategic?plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives in support of the organization’s mission. This includes supporting?the?development?for?Youth Collaboratory’s Youth Housing Justice focus area, consistent with the mission and vision of Youth Collaboratory.
Provide Leadership, Team Development, and Mentorship
Using a supportive and collaborative approach, mentors and develops Technical Assistance Associate(s) team members through supporting individual goalsetting that contributes to overall team goals and priorities, while holding the team accountable for the results. S/he/they promotes?a team-based culture and supports collaboration across multiple functions of the organization to ensure a coordinated and?cohesive?approach to Youth Collaboratory’s mission.
Uses Program Expertise in Youth Housing Justice to Propel Focus Area
The new TA Lead will have a wide range of expertise in areas of Youth Housing justice, including design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of systems-level training and technical assistance projects, contracts, and activities (Youth Homelessness Demonstration program, the Activating Uptake Initiative, and the Grand Challenge). S/He/They has flexibility to provide remote and onsite TA consultation to place-based projects focused on systemic change, with a particular focus on ending youth homelessness. The TA Lead has experience in working with and providing consultation, assessment, and development of plans/applications outlined in the YHDP NOFA to assist communities of color submit plans national program, including HUD and eSNAPS. As a Youth Collaboratory subject matter expert, s/he/they will promote effective partnerships and represent the organization within national, state, and local networks.
