Skyhook is seeking a qualified salesperson to drive new business and grow existing relationships for Skyhook's Precision Location technology business. Skyhook delivers unmatched location positioning services to a wide range of device makers, service providers and IoT solutions. The Director of Strategic Accounts will create a robust pipeline and negotiate with some of the largest companies in the world in order to continually exceed revenue and customer goals as we help the industry dramatically improve user experience, and device capabilities leveraging Skyhook’s leading geo-positioning technology stack.
Requirements
- Extensive solution-based sales expertise.
- Familiarity and experience selling into the mobile device and IoT ecosystem and its related business models.
- Demonstrated success managing a robust pipeline and exceeding revenue goals.
- Expertise in outbound prospecting through all available channels including cold calling, email and social media.
- Success working cross-functionally to deliver successful sales presentations, proposals and contracts.
- Ability to comfortably execute presentations at all organizational levels with prospects and customers both in person and through phone/web platforms.
- Ability to provide consistent feedback to product on customizations and roadmap opportunities.
- Self-motivation to create daily, monthly and quarterly plans to exceed aggressive activity, bookings and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 6-8 years of sales experience
- Experience selling software and/or SAAS platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Experience working in CRM platforms such as Hubspot or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience selling mobile technology
- Knowledge of mobile location technology and services
- Experience working in Salesforce.com or equivalent
