Job Description
Eagle Seven, LLC is seeking a Desktop Trading Application Developer to work on our next-generation desktop applications. The candidate should have a passion for finance, an eye for aesthetics, and strong sense of good software design. The role will provide the individual with exposure to traders, risk managers, and quantitative analysts, as well as the ability to influence and direct future direction through the use of leading edge technologies and design techniques. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have a strong sense of ownership and be driven to provide technical solutions to business problems.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Work in a team environment that integrates trading, risk management and technology
- Design and implement intuitive and advanced UI interfaces and applications for trading, execution and risk management
- Develop and own key feature sets of the platform using industry proven design patterns and methods
- Facilitate testing and deployment of new features across multiple trading desks
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Trading industry experience strongly preferred, multi-threading experience required
- 2-4+ years of application development experience
- 2-4+ years of experience building .NET WinForms, multi-threaded applications
- Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
