Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounts Payable Processing Specialist will be given the responsibility of handling a range of general accounting tasks, but primarily responsible for all accounting work that are associated with processing accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements. These tasks can range from receiving, documenting and recordkeeping invoices and employee receipts of which are then used by auditors and various people in the organization. The ideal candidate for this position should be highly organized, possess attention to detail and good record-keeping.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all accounting work that is needed to make sure accounts payable are processed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Prepare and manage all invoices and expense reports daily, gather vendor documentations and acquire approvals from department heads
  • Code invoices, expense reports, check requests and other similar items with correct codes conforming to the FPamp;A Team’s guidelines
  • Maintain and monitor the organization’s accounts payable inbox and address vendor or internal inquiries
  • Prepare batch check runs and ACH transactions as needed
  • Work to improve processes in their assigned accounting functions
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and General Accounting (Required)
  • Experience in Concur Expense amp; Concur Invoicing (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (Required)

  • Strong data entry and computer processing skills
  • Must be well organized and ability to prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and highly detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills including verbal and written
  • Ability to manage time effectively, understand directions, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
