We are searching for an Inside Sales Associate to join us in our corporate headquarters in the Boston Area.

The primary function of the Inside Sales Associate for our State Local and Educational clients (SLED) is to provide Nobles products and services to our existing customers and to develop new areas of business. Time management, attention to detail and strong follow-up skills are necessary, given that our team operates in a fast paced ever-changing dynamic environment. The ISA will prospect for new business, prepare presentations, issue quotes, develop proposals, and execute sales contracts essentially working thriugh the entire sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, love working with people and have and the ability to multitask in order to meet our critical timelines. Other duties include:

  • Follow-up up on inbound inquiries via phone and email including new leads and referrals resulting from bid board or field activity.
  • Provide quotes in response to SLED agencies or Small Businesses.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare action plans and schedule to identify specific targets and projects the number of contacts to be made.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and any other follow-up.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.

Requirements


  • A minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, work in the MRO, SLED or PPE space a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Office and Excel required, Salesforce and NetSuite a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines and time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong Customer Service skills, must have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable talking to new people and creating relationships
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create compose and edit written materials.
  • Superior organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
