Job Description
We are looking for a versatile pro with deep technical expertise, the ability to manage multiple complex projects and staff with minimal supervision and excellent initiative. Significant experience in mid to large size companies and/or start up environments, experience in public companies is essential; consulting and senior management experiences are big pluses.

Top candidates are CPAs who have a background in public accounting with either Big 4 or regional auditing firms. We are looking for 10+ years’ experience, preferably including 5-7years in industry. Preferred industries include Life Science, Technology, FinTech, eCommerce, Software, SaaS, Hardware, Cannabis, Food amp; Beverage and/or Manufacturing.
Requirements
We are looking for expertise in these areas:
- Excellent knowledge of the technical requirements of SOX
- Demonstrated expertise in design controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Ability to prepare test plans to ensure controls are properly tested
- Expertise in executing test of controls
- Strong experience in assigning and reviewing work of teammates, ensuring high quality standards, coaching team members to higher levels of performance
- Proven track record of delivering quality work, on-time, on-budget
- Excellent knowledge of audit theory and procedures
- Strong leadership, organizational and strategic skills
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with clients and teammates
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work with ambiguity
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or finance
- At least 10 years of accounting or finance experience, including a managerial capacity with exposure to process flows and controls
- At least 5 years of experience designing, documenting and testing SOX controls
Strongly Preferred:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Big Four public accounting firm
- CPA or IIA /CIA certification
