Job Description

For a decade, Kids Science Labs has been the leader in hands-on science education in the U.S., with camp operations in Chicago, Seattle, and Virtual. Our Program and Camp Directors are responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring that every one of our young scientists leaves with a smile on their face. We are hiring a Camp Director for each of our seven locations in the U.S. and one for Virtual.

The Program Director will work alongside our full-time teaching team to deliver an unforgettable experience from June to September and will be the primary leader at one of our retail camp locations, coordinating success with our regional managers and team leaders. This is a phenomenal opportunity for camp directors with previous experience, teachers who wish to flex their leadership skills, experienced store managers who love kids, building teams and adapting to the flow of the day.

The Program Director will also be responsible for maintaining our highly successful COVID-19 safety protocols, greeting customers (parents amp; kids), commuting Key Performance Indicators to the regional director, supporting positive workflow with all staff and customers, engaging the kids, leading a team of 5-10 staff members, maintaining an organized center, and ensuring the success of our five-star experience at Kids Science Labs. Successful Camp Directors will have the option to become the full-time Manager of Center Operations for the retail location during the academic year. The role pays $18 - $23/hr for the entire summer based on your experience.

Relocation is not available for this position.
