VP - Go To Market for the US (GTM)

Remote in the US


At Aire, our mission is to make access to credit fairer for consumers. Our product (Pulse) is used by mainstream lenders, banks and even fintechs as part of their credit decision process.

Aire was founded in the UK in 2014, and is now in the midst of a US expansion. We are therefore looking to add more people to our existing US operations now that we have established our operational amp; regulatory readiness.

  • Vice President for the Go To Market in the US: This role has a deep focus on enabling our product (Pulse) reach Product/Market Fit in the US. We do require you to have a strong grasp of the consumer credit ecosystem, ideally with some work experience at a reputable US lender.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO: The role reports directly into the Founder amp; CEO. You will also have a cross-functional team dedicated to the US go to market (being a remote-first company, our people are spread out over the UK, US and the EU).
  • What your role will cover: In the US, Aire has built up an initial cohort of lenders who are early-adopters, and we are keen to add more to this. As the VP GTM, you are going to be responsible for sharpening the strategy for the US market including open questions such as: How do we optimize our target segments? What are essential pieces of feedback to find Product/Market Fit faster in the US? What other roles should we look to hire as we expand? How are we going to ensure product adoption and expansion of usage? And other related topics around revenue amp; pipeline forecasting, commercial metrics, events, partners, resellers et al.
  • What will push you further: Naturally, along with our existing team in the US you are also going to be responsible for evangelizing about our product Pulse, our approach and most importantly the mission of Aire. Being an excellent communicator is going to be quite important to this role, and we expect you would eventually also engage directly with our Board, the media and the regulators (apart from our clientele of major consumer lenders amp; banks).
  • People Leadership: In due course, we would expect you to assume responsibilities as a people lead (manager) with the ability to develop talent, build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Others are here to help you: You will closely work alongside our existing VP for US Operations alongside a number of cross-functional teams that are exclusively focussed on the US expansion. As such you will collaborate in setting our brand, marketing and overall positioning in the US ecosystem. Being able to make key decisions is an important part of this role and something we value strongly at Aire.
