Job Description

Our Finance team in Armstrong Flooring is growing and we are adding 3 new Sr. Finance Analysts. Our Sr. Finance Analysts partner with Sales amp; Marketing teams to develop complex and interpretative sales financial analysis. You'll work on things like portfolio and channel profitability analysis, operational analysis, innovation pipeline financials, Volume/Price/Mix analysis, trade and marketing expense analysis, costing and source analysis. You will also work closely with the Marketing amp; Sales teams to enhance financial strategies and goals and determine the financial implications of new initiatives across product and customer and channel segments.

Location: 2500 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17604 - temporarily 100% remote due to COVID
Sr. Finance Analyst Salary: $85,000 - $100,000, based upon experience (Gr. 11)

How you’ll contribute to the team:

  • Manage monthly financial forecasts by accurately updating actuals, preparing forecast load templates, and incorporating demand planning updates. Communicate risks and opportunities to all stakeholders and facilitate gap closing discussions.
  • Analyze our North America business by brand and product line, channel and account. Identify trends and developments in the competitive environment and provide relevant insights that translate into margin expansion opportunities.
  • Be an expert in channel and portfolio analytics, marketing expense, trade spending analysis, manufacturing costs, and logistics to determine portfolio return and spend effectiveness.
  • Create segment reporting, stage gate, commercial buying reports, and strategic initiative scorecards. Develop data and presentations that will go into Executive Leadership Team presentations, Sales and Operations reviews, and CFO forecast reviews.
  • Critical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset are needed to revamp and further develop existing financial models.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Finance degree, Accounting degree, Business Management degree or related fields; Bachelor's
  • 5+ years of increasing financial experience in marketing, product management and sales finance

We'll be excited if you have:

  • S4/HANA and or SAP experience
  • Experience managing BW or BI Power BI tools
