Retention bonus of $1,000 - payable in two installments after completing six months and one year of employment.

Responsibilities amp; Duties:

  • Strong team building and leadership skills a must.
  • Ensure compliance with program regulations, Department of Public Welfare guidelines and accreditation standards
  • Adhere to 2600 regulations
  • Supervision of staff hiring, orientation, scheduling, staff meetings, performance evaluations
  • Oversight of household budget and consumer funds
  • On-Call duties secure replacement staff, respond to crisis situations, visit site during non-scheduled work time to resolve clinical, personnel or programmatic issues
  • Prepare necessary documentation according to program guidelines within required time-frames
  • Administer and/or monitor self-administration of all prescribed medications and ensure accuracy and compliance, monitor side effects and required documentation
  • Participate in activities addressing program review and development, quality assurance, utilization review and staff development/training
  • Facilitate an internal system to review consumer data and ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, accreditation and managed care regulations
  • Perform assessments on all prospective admissions
  • Orient new consumers and assist them with making the adjustment into the house
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Primary Hours:

Full Time Salaried - 40 hours weekly

On-Call Duties Required

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM subject to change based on program needs

Requirements

  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse ; OR
  • Associates Degree in the human services field; OR
  • Sixty (60) or more credit hours for a college/university; OR
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse plus one (1) year experience in the mental health field; OR
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Nursing Home Administrator

AND

  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
  • Internal applicants must be current on all Salisbury Behavioral Health Trainings
