Retention bonus of $1,000 - payable in two installments after completing six months and one year of employment.
Responsibilities amp; Duties:
- Strong team building and leadership skills a must.
- Ensure compliance with program regulations, Department of Public Welfare guidelines and accreditation standards
- Adhere to 2600 regulations
- Supervision of staff hiring, orientation, scheduling, staff meetings, performance evaluations
- Oversight of household budget and consumer funds
- On-Call duties secure replacement staff, respond to crisis situations, visit site during non-scheduled work time to resolve clinical, personnel or programmatic issues
- Prepare necessary documentation according to program guidelines within required time-frames
- Administer and/or monitor self-administration of all prescribed medications and ensure accuracy and compliance, monitor side effects and required documentation
- Participate in activities addressing program review and development, quality assurance, utilization review and staff development/training
- Facilitate an internal system to review consumer data and ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, accreditation and managed care regulations
- Perform assessments on all prospective admissions
- Orient new consumers and assist them with making the adjustment into the house
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Primary Hours:
Full Time Salaried - 40 hours weekly
On-Call Duties Required
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM subject to change based on program needs
Requirements
- Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse ; OR
- Associates Degree in the human services field; OR
- Sixty (60) or more credit hours for a college/university; OR
- Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse plus one (1) year experience in the mental health field; OR
- Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Nursing Home Administrator
AND
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Internal applicants must be current on all Salisbury Behavioral Health Trainings
