Southwest U.S. 501c3 Regional Fundraising/Business Development Consultant | 12-Month Engagement
GENYOUth (GY) seeks to retain a full-time fundraising/business development Consultant to provide services that drive strategy, tactical implementation and fundraising to support its youth wellness mission. This is a 12-month engagement that has the potential to renew for an additional 12-month period, and is based in the Southwestern U.S.
The Consultant will develop and secure corporate partnerships and leverage platforms in the Southwest to advance GY’s fundraising priorities in an alignment with GY and will be tasked with growing financial support for GENYOUth’s core initiatives, including our flagship program Fuel Up to Play 60, focused on creating healthier school communities while addressing student hunger and food insecurity challenges.

Qualifications
Consultant should possess at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, philanthropic studies, sports marketing/sales or related field(s), and have at least 5+ years of experience/proven results in a development/sales role within a public/private organization and an accountable history of annual fund-raising/sponsorship sales in excess of $5 Million.
Must have knowledge of, and engagement with, grant-supported initiatives including grant research and application process management.
Sponsor/partner sales experience with a professional sports league or team will be valued in considering final candidate selections.
The Consultant will be based in the Southwest (or will self-relocate to the SW); regional travel will be required.
The role requires that the Consultant has outstanding oral, written and sales communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple tasks to successful completion. Other requirements include:
