Key Responsibilities

As a Sales amp; Customer trainer, you will be responsible for the onboarding and continuous skill development of our customer facing teams. Working across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and our Go-To-Market team you'll work to develop and implement a training curriculum that improves job performance and supports the execution of strategic initiatives.

This role will report directly to the VP of Global Revenue Activation with an emphasis on presenting collaboratively developed training modules. Specifically you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver training content and programs to customer facing teams designed by the VP of Global Revenue Activation utilizing various mediums. Including but not limited to face to face, virtual, video, and written.
  • Improve our onboarding experience, curriculum and classroom training for new hires. Giving them the skills to navigate Zappi and become more productive members of the Revenue team quickly.
  • Responsible for full onboarding of all new Sales amp; Customer Success hires, as well as third party consultants globally by working individually with new reps to make him or her experts in several categories encompassing but not limited to:
    • Sales Process
    • Product Knowledge amp; Application
    • Qualification amp; Discovery
    • Condensing Sales Cycles
    • Zappi Tech Stack
    • Build Healthy amp; Manageable Pipeline
    • Navigation of Zappi’s internal processes
  • Utilize and assist in the maintenance of our learning management system as the foundation for role specific onboarding development programs
  • Introducing new skills, concepts, and strategies complimenting Zappi’s value proposition
  • Creating high quality learning amp; development pathways amp; building out existing frameworks, bringing in external experts where necessary
  • Develop a learning curriculum in partnership with marketing and go to market to keep revenue teams effectively delivering on growth strategies as the result of new products or programs.
  • Coordinate feedback sessions with leadership, reps and new hires to determine additional training needs and improve upon modules
  • Continuously developing and modernizing training collateral for future hires.
  • Creating a culture that is customer-centric and delivering on Zappi's value proposition day in and day out
  • Working closely with the People Team on continual improvement of our recruitment and onboarding processes

Requirements

Essential:

  • Self-motivated, comfortable with autonomous working, exceptional at prioritization and organization, reliable, critical attention to detail
  • Emotional intelligence, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people from across the business
  • Experience in complex sales and customer onboarding processes
  • Demonstrable success in optimizing training/onboarding processes
