We are looking for a Solution Engineer PLUS Consultant to join our Sales team. If the title seems strange it is because the right individual performs a far more important role than the alignment and demonstration of software.
In this role you will primarily assist our Sales team in aligning the business goals of prospective customers to Marketplacer’s approach and solution. In addition, this individual will take accountability for the sharing and advancement of knowledge within our partner community. Ideal candidates have an understanding of the business value of Marketplaces and a knowledge of the Commerce technical space.
Requirements

- Quickly empathize with customers and their associated professional measurements and goals
- Tell a story and to adjust to unplanned customer scenarios
- Capture requirements, configure technical solutions and present to a technical and business audience in a manner that progresses a sales cycle and in line with the customer’s goals
- Architect high level integration scenarios for headless and full stack scenarios
- Act as a conduit to the product team for new features and product input
- Provide insight to sales leadership on the reality of a sales cycle

- Strong history of solution engineering (min 4 years) in a Commerce-related software company
- Technical knowledge of API, GraphQL and other integration scenarios
- An understanding of a Commerce technical architecture (full stack and headless)
