Senior Consultants (SC’s) at DRG Consulting (DRGC), the strategy consulting arm of Clarivate, serve as key members of the internal extended leadership team and play a vital and important role on client engagements and firm initiatives. We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our Global Pricing amp; Market Access practice. The SC will manage and lead multiple strategic consulting engagements and project teams to provide insights and recommendations focused on critical Global Pricing and Market Access issues for our clients. The SC will define project plans, guide and conduct research and analysis efforts, develop deliverables and interact with clients via presentations and day-to-day client management. The SC will coach and mentor junior team members, and also participate in proposal / business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Manage all aspects of assigned Global Pricing and Market Access consulting engagements including execution of key project activities for tier 1 and emerging biopharma clients
  • Lead and guide the overall work plan including oversight of secondary research, qualitative research (e.g. KOL interviews) and quantitative analysis (e.g. forecasting and projections) to obtain key insights and findings for clients
  • Oversee the work of junior team members including Associates, Associate Consultants and Consultants on projects
  • Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine the so-what for clients
  • Produce quality client deliverables with minimal supervision and maintain high client satisfaction through proactive client interaction and engagement
  • Build therapeutic area and domain expertise to apply during client engagements and thought leadership initiatives
  • Support senior team members with opportunistic business development efforts including greenfield research and developing proposals and pitch books
  • Work with senior staff to promote consistent operations, efficient use of resources and knowledge sharing / best practices
  • Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional development through trainings and/or unstructured sessions, as well as mentoring junior staff to assist in their growth
  • Contribute to the social environment by executing assigned firm-building activities including knowledge management, internal training sessions and assisting with recruiting top talent
  • Travel to client sites when required, including international travel - once COVID19 has passed

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a life science, business or related field is required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant Global Market Access consulting or advisory experience
  • Experience with at least 10 completed consulting projects with an emphasis on global payors from the EU5
  • Project Managed / led at least 5 engagements from kickoff to presentation / final deliverable
  • Experience or strong exposure to oncology and/or rare diseases would be a strong plus
  • Demonstrated business development abilities and success not required, but a plus
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), time management and organizational skills
  • Experienced with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Prefer candidates in the greater NYC area, but open to other locations as well, ideally east coast
