About the Role
ActionIQ is looking for a highly experienced communications senior manager to rapidly scale our public, media, and analyst relations programs. You will bring a deep understanding of building a unified brand voice and how to build and execute differentiated stories highlighting our product, customers, internal thought leaders, and customer experience market perspective across channels and geographies. You will own and be responsible for all aspects of the communications program, from strategy to execution to measurement and optimization. This senior manager will be an individual contributor with the opportunity to grow a team in the future as we expand our reach. The role is based in New York with some travel.

We spend our time conducting market and customer research, writing thought leadership content and finding the best pathways to quality conversations with market influencers and prospective customers. - Designed and implemented unified brand voice, communications roadmap, and editorial calendar
- Launched and optimize global communication programs across press, analysts, and market influencers
- Built strong relationships with external media, analyst, and market influencers to understand and influence their perspective on CX trends, technologies, and ActionIQ expertise
- Built strong relationships across internal product, customer, and marketing subject matter experts to support communications strategy
- Integrated our external communications plan with employee, client, and partner communications programs
- Worked closely with with product marketing, content marketing, and design to draft, package, and publish external communications across diverse mix of channels
- Defined and optimized program measurement, optimization, and communication across internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Programs: Own and grow public, media, and analyst relations programs to identify key trends and topics of interest relevant to ActionIQ; while influencing how they think about and publish content on our company and market
- Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to plan and execute on a integrated comms roadmap and calendar that supports brand awareness, demand gen, deal conversion, and client advocacy needs - amplify content across all relevant channels
- Operations: Plan and deliver against a shared editorial calendar while building processes to prepare, distribute and organize content and messaging across both internal and external stakeholders
- Content: Partner with internal and partner subject matter experts to craft and deliver compelling content including blogs, bylines, product releases, customer stories, website copy, social posts, and more
- Analytics: Define and report on market influence, share of voice, and comms effectiveness KPIs to optimize planning and prioritization
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven communications (PR/AR/Corporate Comms/Marketing Agency) experience in B2B SaaS environments, ideally in marketing technology, customer data management / CRM, or analytics
- Ability to build and grow direct relationships with media, analysts, and influencers in the marketing technology space, existing relationships a strong plus
- Analytical mindset, interpret and summarize diverse set of market signals with actionable insights and execution plan
- Business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging customer experience technologies and solutions
- A command for writing with excellent composition and verbal communication skills
- Strong project, operational, and organizational skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work
- Track record of success in high-growth startup environments
- Team mentality and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
- Bachelor’s degree
