Job Description

VP of Sales (Restaurant Partnerships)

Overview:

We are actively looking for a creative, strategic-thinking and highly driven VP of Sales to build and develop our fast-growing Sales Team in San Francisco, New York, and eventually nationwide, and maximize profitability with our rapidly-growing food-delivery startup. You will be responsible for driving new business growth via acquiring new restaurant partners for Clubfeast.

As the VP of Sales, you will collaborate closely with various in-house leaders across Technology, Operations, Growth and Marketing to position our capabilities, product, services and solutions effectively with top prospects. As a hands-on leader, you will support your teams' sourcing and converting leads whilst ensuring they are outperforming their sales targets at all times. You will strive to balance encouraging mentorship with effective performance management, to develop every new hire into the future top-billers of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly expanding Club Feast’s existing sales channels, delivering 10X+ growth year over year
  • Creating and building on sales relationships with major restaurant partners, corporate partners and more, owning major relationships from prospecting through sale and delivery of Club Feast signup, acting as a player-coach as the team expands
  • Managing and building the Club Feast sales team, recruiting top sales talent, developing our existing team, and creating a strong sales culture while maintaining a solid, well-organized portfolio and nurturing key accounts
  • Building and driving a solid outbound sales strategy, overseeing team’s cold calling, networking, partner/corporate outreach
  • Partnering with the Executive team and leadership to create revenue strategy, and critical strategic and operational initiatives designed to improve and maximize revenue acquisition, retention, and growth, assisting with analytics and decisions
  • Building and leading a high performing sales team to hit ambitious ever-growing targets
  • Optimizing customer segmentation and creating a plan to enhance renewal, retention, and up-sell processes alongside the Sales Leadership team
  • Providing an environment that fosters accountability among the field sales team

Who You Are

  • You are a proven strategic sales leader, with at least 8-10 years of sales leadership experience in both e-commerce and B2B/B2C markets, ideally in fast-growing start-up-like environments
  • You have a successful background of scaling revenue to $200M+ and driving accountability
  • Solid network of potential prospects or partners in the region would be preferable
  • Track record of inspiring and mentoring sales teams from no-experience to top-performers
  • Proven individual contributor success in full-cycle Sales role
  • Highly collaborative, with ability to work cross-functionally and provide insight to various internal stakeholders across the business
  • Tech-savvy, with a real passion for Technology
  • Extraordinary communication and negotiation skills and techniques
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
  • You will manage, inspire, and maintain sales process adherence and accountability with Sales team individual contributors and leaders
  • You have the ability to effectively coach and train team members
  • You understand and have overcome the challenges of growing a team that consistently delivers results in a high-growth environment
  • You know how to balance agility with building systems and practices required for scale
  • You have expertise in sales and revenue methodologies and processes including revenue enablement tools and software
  • You have experience leveraging data and metrics to assess current operations and make analytical recommendations for improvement
