The Sill is looking for a Corporate Sales Manager to lead the sales and development of our corporate gifting business. This is a critical role that will deliver topline sales and profit. This role is cross-functional and will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Distribution, Procurement, Planning, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Marketing, and Engineering.

Location
The team is working remotely at this time but the role is located at The Sill’s headquarters in New York City. We are open to permanently remote candidates on a case by case basis.
Reporting
This role will report to the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development.
Areas of Responsibility
- Own all aspects of the corporate gifting sales cycle to ensure every client has a positive experience, including fielding inquiries, proposal creation, building relationships, processing sales and order fulfillment
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to increase awareness of corporate gifting program and develop appropriate sales materials
- Identify and proactively engage new corporate customers and develop new, exciting business opportunities
- Provide real, effective solutions and sell to clients in a consultative manner
- Follow-up on potential leads and manage communication both internally and externally
- Serve as the point of contact for existing B2B partnerships and client relationships
- Partner with Planning team to manage inventory and ensure we have a compelling product offering based on performance and customer feedback
- Achieve monthly sales goals
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboard and sales metrics
- Utilize data to analyze performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Partner with the Marketing and Engineering teams to refine corporate gifting site
- Develop process for customization options, aligning internal key stakeholders to ensure operational success
- Establish corporate gifting calendar with key deadlines for sales and shipping cut-offs, especially around major holidays
- Collaborate with internal partners to identify potential obstacles and collectively work together to overcome them
- Support the planning of our corporate gifting strategy and expansion roadmap (e.g., corporate workshops, B2B partnerships, design services, wholesale accounts)
- Conduct industry trend analysis and periodic pricing landscape for corporate gifting
Requirements
- 3+ years corporate sales experience required, experience in the garden/plant or gifting space or managing sales for premium brands highly preferred, but not required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
- Experience building new customer relationships
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
