The Real Estate Agent is a key position in any Real Estate organization. By attracting, interacting with, and networking with both sellers and buyers, Real Estate Agents facilitate transactions in and around their city and communities. Because of the independent nature of the job, an opportunistic and proactive attitude is needed for success in the Real Estate Agent career field. The Real Estate career field is best suited to proactive, independent thinking, and achievement-focused individuals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage client relationships with buyers and sellers
  • Act as a knowledgeable guide to help buyers and sellers navigate the transaction process from start to close
  • Manage the transaction as agent for buyers and sellers in conjunction with team members, transaction coordinators, inspectors, brokerage support, lenders, escrow officers, and other service providers
  • Provide client representation that adheres to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and fairness
  • Show spaces and properties

Requirements

  • California real estate salesperson license
  • 2-3+ years real estate industry experience including a history of successfully closed sales and cultivated client contacts
  • Self-motivated, driven, and organized
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate on behalf of clients
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate services, cities, inventory, market activity, and related trends
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Client-centric approach to service delivery
  • Experience with knowledge of comps, availability, data, market values
  • Negotiation expertise tailored to buyers' and sellers' needs
  • In-depth understanding of the real estate services and its position in local markets
  • Self-motivated, driven and energetic
  • Willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment
  • Service-oriented attitude with a client-first focus
  • Strong organizational skills
