HR Ops Contractor

LRN’s People amp; Culture team is looking for a short-term, HR Ops Contractor to support the HR Ops Director on a myriad of transactions and projects following a corporate merger and to support the re-building of the People amp; Culture function. At least 50% of the role will be focused on international transactions for employees in Ireland and UK; the other 50% will be US-based transactions.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Evaluate current benefits for UK and Ireland-based employees, harmonize with existing LRN benefits in other regions, partner with a benefits broker to determine a package that is competitive and supports our employees.
  • Update existing employee contracts in Spain, Canada, Switzerland, UK, and Ireland.
  • Review status of existing work visas, partner with Legal on the renewal process, and work with employees on obtaining travel visas.
  • Work with payroll provider (ADP) on tax set up in multiple states within the US.
  • Collaborate with other People amp; Culture team members to build global HR processes and practices such as on/off-boarding and employee data changes.
  • Other projects and tasks as they arise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience and knowledge of UK, Irish, and US employee benefits.
  • Basic level of UK, Irish, and US payroll.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in ADP and/or other HR systems.
  • Ability to manage time and carry-out transactions with accuracy.
  • Strong follow-up skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Interested in being part of a dynamic team and helping to build the HR function.
