Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to gather electrical design requirements
- Architect complex electrical systems
- Component selection and specification
- Design schematics and layouts
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
- Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy designs
- Write test plans for PCBAs
- Write test firmware
- Manage PCBA manufacturing orders
- Attend client and internal meetings to ensure effective communication
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in an electrical design engineering role, especially with microelectronics
- Experience designing digital and analog circuits
- Extensive EDA/ECAD experience (Altium/CircuitStudio preferred)
- RF experience and communication protocol knowledge is a plus, especially Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and Cellular
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Strong documentation skills, high level of attention to detail, and enviable communication skills
