Job Description

The Regional Clinical Advisor leads regional education and training activities in support of new Team Member training and product launches. They will serve as the local customer and field technical resource and provide expertise and leadership in the areas of customer education, product expertise, and clinical evidence interpretation. May be responsible for developing key customer relationships and serve as primary contact based on regional specific needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Drive regional education and training activities for sales and service teams around products and therapies, specifically:
    • New product launches
    • New Team Member training with accountability to hiring manager
    • Product sales and service education and training as required by region
  • Share expertise in competitive technology and therapies. Disseminates competitive information to regional teams. Delivers competitive training to field service and sales staff.
  • Stay current with regard to publications and clinical evidence. Effectively and regularly disseminate information and training to field sales and service staff.
  • Assist and/or serve as consultant to customers as well as sales and service teams with troubleshooting and product challenges
  • Serves as technical resource to customers and sales team for complex problems. Provides technical explanation and demonstration of products to customers, particularly surrounding product launches.
  • May be asked to cover sales or clinical advisor team for vacancies, leaves of absence and to train new hires.

    • Information regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved with the patient’s case.

Requirements

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, nursing, and/or the medical device field
  • Experience in patient and/or clinician education
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a good driving record
  • Ability to consistently work remotely
  • Must be able to achieve credentialing for hospital system entry

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree, specifically in nursing or engineering
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with MS Teams

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Variable conditions during travel
  • Minimal noise volume typical to an office or hospital environment
  • Possible environmental exposure to infectious disease (hospital and clinic settings)
  • Extended hours when needed
  • Drug-free, as per FDA regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to travel
  • Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
  • Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, at times from in and out of vehicle
