Job Description

We are excited to launch this opportunity to diverse men and women experienced in DEamp;I management. The Diversity, Equity, amp; Inclusion Sr. Manager is responsible for developing a comprehensive organization-wide strategic diversity and inclusion plan that aligns with our M2022 amp; M2025 business objectives and leading the collaborative efforts for an inclusive and supportive environment. The DEI Manager will build new DEI programs and collaborate with Talent Management on training for the global organization and is accountable for the results of those programs.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a DEI Council that enhances amp; supports Employee Resource Groups and provides overall strategic guidance and direction for the teams.
  • Serve as a leading expert in providing DEI educational programs by collaborating with the leadership team and Talent Management team to deliver DEI initiatives including a comprehensive Journey to Inclusion Learning Series.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, amp; HRBPs to enhance recruitment, hiring, promotion and retention of diverse team members and provide support to employees with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
  • Direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management within business units, plants, and functional teams.
  • Ensure diversity outcome is reflected in the workforce/workplace amp; in business activities including marketing materials, suppliers amp; community facing efforts.
  • Partner with Communications to drive diversity amp; inclusion-related messages throughout the organization.
  • Identify, develop, and foster relationships with relevant external organizations.
  • Develop tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate the impact and ROI of initiatives; develop reports on program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement.
  • Design and implement talent management processes and systems to increase representation of people of color in the US and increase proportion of women in leadership roles globally.
  • Partner with HR team to administer and evaluate the results of engagement and climate surveys to achieve a more inclusive and diverse environment.
  • Coach and mentor managers to create an inclusive environment where employees can perform at their best and reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years demonstrating strong business acumen, including leadership and managerial experience required
  • 3-5 years significant experience focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, specifically as it relates to communicating to a variety of internal and external stakeholders about diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Comfort in presenting to large, diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership experience effectively working with historically underrepresented groups
  • Demonstrated expertise building collaboration at all levels and across all functions
  • Strong influencing skills. Proven ability to support and coach leaders who are less experienced in leading conversations about diversity and inclusion
  • Strong team player, leadership experience and high degree of flexibility
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
