We are looking for an EE/CS Engineer to join the IoT group to work in the design and testing our IOT devices. We build millions of IoT devices every year using custom software to test and track each device. In this role you will maintain, automate and improve the software and hardware that tests and validates our IoT hardware and the related systems. You will work as part of our hardware and production groups to write code to test individual devices, design and build tools and fixtures to facilitate automated testing and produce statistics for customer-facing validation reports. You should be able to work independently with little supervision, and demonstrate excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies is a plus. Your mission will be to develop high-quality software and circuits that directly impact CMT's IoT business goals.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software used for IoT validation testing
  • Expand and automate lab and on-the-road test coverage
  • Design and build test systems
  • Analyze validation results using Tableau
  • Interact directly with hardware and software engineers to develop effective test strategies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge with Python
  • Hands-on experience with circuit design and debugging
  • Experience in software development and scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting ability; capable of diagnosing complex issues
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Have strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
