Position responsibilities:
We are looking for digital communications professional to help support day-to-day tasks and initiatives across the Marketing and Communications team. With direction from the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust, on-trend social media calendar, and in doing so, helping to reach follower and engagement goals, as well as directing traffic to our site. You will also work closely with the Content Marketing Specialist to write, proofread, format, and publish content on our website and blogs, including our Learn Library and impact reports to donors. Other responsibilities will include assisting in public relations outreach and performing some administrative and reporting tasks.
To do this well, you will need to understand how to engage new and existing audiences across various online platforms while maintaining brand integrity, have demonstrated competency in copywriting, and good organizational skills.
The Digital Communications Assistant reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager. The assistant will also work with other GlobalGiving teams to support their communications and marketing goals.

Salary range: $42K to $45K

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and will be filled remotely for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Once in-office operations can safely resume, this role will be based in GlobalGiving’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
