We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. We seek a candidate that demonstrates a strong understanding of the construction industry including the development of schedules and budgets, value engineering, general means and methods, design-build method of delivery, and industry standard forms of contractual agreements. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Keep records of sales, revenue, etc.
- Briefing senior management on prospective clients and the status of objectives
- Coordinating with the marketing department to expand company exposure to targeted groups
- Networking within industry events
Requirements
- Proven sales track record
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Time management and planning skills
- Ability to build strong industry relationships
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
- Proficiency in Procore a plus
