Aetos Systems is currently searching for a Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy Content Developer. The candidate will develop cybersecurity strategy and policy content. The Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy Content Developer roles and responsibilities to include: Creation, editing, and modifying Cybersecurity standards, documents, and SOP to ensure timely updating of policies, procedure, process, and the identification of higher priority items.
•Coordinate with Department Information System owners, customers, and other stake holders to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to ensure timely completion of Cybersecurity strategy documentation, policy creation, Cybersecurity strategy and policy metrics, and reporting for compliance
• Providing problem solving solutions for consistent cybersecurity strategy and policy documentation update
• Providing efforts with management and recommendation and implementation of cybersecurity industry best practice solutions while enhancing the Cybersecurity policy framework and Policy SOPs
• Chair and produce strategy for ongoing working group meetings and coordination with Department branches, Department IT Stakeholders, and customers
• Ability to collaborate with a Department branches and variety customers to translate complex technical requirements into documents such as policy standards, memorandums, briefings, etc.
• Technical writing, creation and editing of security and technology content related documents, including memorandums, federal guidelines, reports, policy standards, directives, metrics, and specifications to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office and other products such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, Microsoft SharePoint, Planner, Project, and Visio to produce workflow creations, diagrams, visualizations, reports, etc.
Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity field.
• Shall hold in good standings Professional certifications: 1 of the following - ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or CISM
• Five (5) years of experience in leading cybersecurity policy engagements, collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams, and advising stakeholders of federal mandates, NIST Special Publications, and OMB directives.
• Possess familiarity and experience with assessing system boundary resources residing with commercial cloud environments.
• Possess familiarity with a variety of the IT technologies, architecture, concepts, best practices, and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience designing/developing communications products in a variety of formats
• Demonstrated problem-solving, solution development, and analytical skills
