Job Description

Paradigm is actively recruiting for a Sr. Technical Specialist (IC Test) on behalf of our client who is a provider of medical microelectronics located south of Portland in beautiful Lake Oswego.

The Sr. Technical Specialist (IC Test) will work with the IC production test group to perform production runs for IC devices. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve with hands-on experience and preferably have experience using LTX C-series 20s amp; 40s testers.

Type: Direct Hire, on-site, full time
Shifts: Flexible; Required to be on-call twice a week
Location: Portland Metro Area
Pay Rate: DOE

As a Sr. Technical Specialist (IC Test), you will:

  • Perform product setup and maintain equipment on test floor
  • Work collaboratively with a small team to perform production runs for IC devices; including the design and build of test hardware load boards, dut cards and probe cards.
  • Troubleshoot systems, electrical, and mechanical problems as necessary on production setups
  • Work with Yield Enhancement Engineers on problem products
  • Work closely with other test engineers amp; organizations on IC testing and program development
  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the manager

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Two or more years’ relevant experience in IC test or reliability test with some program development.
  • Technical use of scopes and meters
  • Ability to interpret board layouts and trouble shoot test setups
  • Equipment knowledge and ability to validate and release equipment and products into production based on specifications and technical experience to troubleshoot.
  • Excellent communication skills and judgement in determining proper cadence of status updates
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve with "hands-on" experience
  • Excellent computer skills: fully versed in MS Windows, and compatible word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail
  • Familiarity with or similar Test Systems
  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux, C, C++, Envision, Unison
  • Understanding inner LTXC workings of Integrated Circuits
